The agreement, announced jointly by both companies in a press release, supports the Green Giant Zambia project, which aims to provide electricity to approximately 4 million households, stimulate employment opportunities, and bolster Zambia\u2019s economy reliant on copper mining with more renewable energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an effort to bolster female participation in technical and vocational education and training (TVET), twenty-two aspiring female engineers from various TVET colleges in Limpopo, North West, and Free State provinces of South Africa are gearing up to embark on a transformative journey to India. The destination? A solar panel manufacturing learning program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>African Development Bank Group President Dr. Akinwumi A. Adesina delivered a keynote address at the Islamic Development Bank\u2019s 50th anniversary celebrations in Riyadh, emphasizing the urgent need for significantly increased financing to meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
